The Account section was closed on Aug, 2003. See details
here.
We're sorry that we have made the difficult decision to close the Account section of our platform. This decision was driven by two primary factors: data concerns and the operational costs associated with maintaining the service.
We kindly request that you login your Account section and backup all of your forms. Read here on how to edit your form in the future.
Although the Account section will no longer be available, we want to assure you that all other form building features remain unaffected. You can still use the JQuery Form Builder to generate and download forms as usual. Happy form building!
We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause and appreciate your understanding.
How to setup SMTP for Gmail business account?
Moses Shohet, a jquery form user who had hard time setting up SMTP for his business account. Thanks to his courtesy, here is the instructions, enjoy!
Enabling a business gmail account to work with "Less Secure Apps" is not as straightforward and simple as it is with standard gmail accounts. In any event, I have written here the steps that need to be followed in order to enable a business gmail account to work with "Less Secure Apps". You can post it on your website. It might help those who like me have a business gmail account and need to set it up so it will work with jQuery. Here are the instructions:
Allowing 'Less secure apps' (e.g. the jQueryForm) to have access to a business Gmail account and use it as an SMTP gateway:
- Open a browser tab and log into you your business gmail account.
- Open another tab and bring up the admin area of google apps (admin.google.com).
- Click on 'More Controls' at the bottom of the page.
- Click on 'Security'.
- Click on 'Basic Settings'.
- Scroll down to 'Less secure apps' and click on 'Go to settings for less secure apps'.
- Select the third option 'Enforce settings for less secure apps for all users (Not Recommended)'.
- Save the settings.
